The Storm travel team is supported by the IBA.
Our goal is to create travel teams for age groups between 12 and 18. We are driven to provide competitive experiences that increase the level of play for players who have worked to reach a level of standard that has been set in order to be a member of the team.
Ultimately, we are striving to help our players reach their own goals by supplying them excellent coaching and skill development. When our athletes reach the upper level teams we will begin to connect and provide the opportunity to be exposed to college coaches and professional scouts through our connections.
Tryouts and schedules are listed with appropriate age group:
2007 marked the first year for the formation of
a 12U and 17U IBA Storm travel baseball teams. The teams
were formed of players from across the Indy metro area. They played in the Indy
Select Baseball League
as well as throughout the midwest. The 12U team hosted several games at the Whitestown
Lions Club
baseball field. The players and coaches did a great job of maintaining their
home field throughout the
summer making it a fun and enjoyable experience for players, coaches and fans.
Indiana Baseball Academy
is committed to the advancement of its players. This included promoting players
to colleges, universities
and scouts at various tournaments as well as providing the tools both teams needed
to succeed. In 2008 we
are once again supporting a 12U team and a 13U team.
